Couldn’t be happier than when I read today’s ritual advice from my mind card selection. Drink coffee, focus on the smell and sounds around, taste and feelings. It’s like mindfulness for my most favour thing.
Perhaps coffee drinking is a form of meditation in its own rite? Either way, I’m on board.
I have to confess that I miss the coffee shop sensation, with its noises and smells and gentle chatter. Surely the joy of coffee is that its flexible, take it with you, change your environment, change your experience.
This is one task I’m happy to do, day after day. Perhaps coffee time could be incorporated into a meditation or reflection time. Coffee and journal perhaps.
